J Yeah, that didn’t last long.
HW  I see that.
[Jimmy after reflecting.. ]  Yeah… well, You know.  Things happen.  Now I’m going out with the sweetest thing I ever met!  She is so smart, she’s funny.  And she’s got real class, Georgie, real class.  Her name is Barbara, but I just call her Babs.
HW  Barabara, huh.  Well, I can’t wait to meet her.
J  You will, Georgie.  I told her you were coming in and she said she had a friend and we could hang out.  Maybe Fosters, now that you mention it.  Play some dominos, get to know each other, drink a few beers.
HW A blind date?  No thanks, man.  I don’t think so.  Besides, what does she look like?
J I don’t know, G.  But Babs says she is really fun.  A bit moody.  Just come and if she’s a howler I’ll cover you.  It’ll be fun.  Besides, I really want you to meet Babs so you can feel good for my change of fortune!
HW OK, Jimmy.  But I can’t stay too late.  I have things I need to take care of.  You know I have a navy career starting tomorrow.
J Yeah, I know.  But we’re going to enjoy tonight, ok?  We won’t get stupid. 

HW  Ok.    Sounds good!

Introduction

Hello, Continentals!  (This is an old intro that I made when I thought some of my high school friends were going to log on and take a look at my project.  I had zero responses). I am not much of a texter, so I hope you don’t mind me directing you to this blog.  Please feel free to leave comments, etc., or reply in messages, whatever you like. I have something that I have been brewing on for over a year now.  My wife (Susan) and I like to watch a show called “Call the Midwife”.  One evening, after watching an episode, I was deeply affected.  “Why would they bring back a beloved character only to kill her off?  That’s not entertainment!” I had similar passions inflamed during the Abu Ghraib scandal - “We are the good guys!  What is this about???”  Well, that led me to join the Army. Scene 1  Scene 1a Scene 1  i Walking  George HW With friend (Jimmy).  J Hey, George!  Great to see you, man!  How are you?  Any trouble?
